Postural Pilates Method
Currently more than five million people practice Pilates, an exercise discipline developed in the early ‘900 by the German Joseph Hubertus Pilates. The more than 500 exercises are focused on all those muscles that help keep the body balanced by supporting the column (postural muscles). The muscle strengthening on the deep plane of the body and around the pelvis (known as Power House) is very useful in preventing and relieving back pain. Each movement should be performed smoothly and always combined with proper breathing. Postural The Pilates Method (PPM) blends the traditional methods of teaching European and American schools with the principles of holistic disciplines (Posture, yoga, dance, aromaterpia). This program, born from the experience and professionalism of trainers of Postural Pilates Academy, helps to provide completeness to the method through a lesson that has its roots in the traditions of the past and is completed by today’s knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The lessons of our courses are structured so as to be enjoyable for practitioners of all levels. The detailed explanation of all the exercises makes practice easy and profitable from the first lesson. This course is suitable both for those who have already been practicing Pilates for beginners.
